Get to Know Me

            Hi, I'm Capri. As of right now, I'm 16 years old and attend Brentwood High School. I am a proud Mexican-American girl living in Los Angeles, eager to immerse myself deeper into the rich tapestry of my culture.

            I plan to serve my community by volunteering at local events and organizations, and fostering connections with my elders to absorb their wisdom and stories. I'm also keen on exploring different locations, soaking in the history and traditions of various Mexican communities around Los Angeles. I'll be attending cultural festivals, trying out traditional recipes, and even learning traditional dances.

           This journey is not just about discovering my roots, but also about embracing the vibrant diversity of my heritage and sharing it with others around me. I will share current events in the LatinX community that I feel need to get more attention to hopefully educate others and make a difference.
